Good luck Frank,Ive read many reviews of the 650 v-star,all of which are highly favorable.currently Im riding 98 883 sportster and it is great,now that I have a comfortable seat!But if I can ever swing it,I will buy a 650 v-star and keep the sporty.If a all possible,Keep your Savage!...'G'
